We are seriously obsessed with the 2016 collection from KATYA KATYA SHEHURINA. There really is something for everyone – from beautiful French lace to soft silks; sleeves/no sleeves; colour; two-pieces… It was hard to pick a favourite for Wedding Dress Wednesday, but after much deliberation, we decided upon *drum roll* – Grazia.
We are all about celebrating the unique and unexpected twists to the traditional, so this dress is right up our street.
The lace, tulle and illusion neckline creates timeless elegance, but a modern edge is provided through the embellished flowers scattered on the skirt; the pockets; and of course, the coloured slip.
What’s not to love about a dress that can provide your, “something blue”!?!
The 2 in 1 dresses are, well, two dresses that create the look of one. The lace overlay is worn over a slip which comes in various colours and different lengths allowing brides to create a look unique to them, or even giving the option to mix it up for the evening do!
KATYA KATYA SHEHURINA is a London based label that offers a unique selection of feminine bridal and womenswear pieces. Originally from Latvia, Katya graduated from the prestigious ESMOD fashion design school studying the craft of couture. Following a period with renowned French designers Nicolas Fafiotte and David Purves, Katya decided to launch her own business in 2007, focusing on her unique design style which reflects modern vintage inspired aesthetic, impeccable craftsmanship and a lightweight ethereal finish.
Since then, her distinctive style has gained international recognition. As Katya’s first flagship boutique opened in London in 2011, the brand has continuously attracted the attention of UK press as well as international buyers.
We are truly smitten with her designs and guarantee you will be hard press to pick a favourite out of these too.
