Wedding Dress Wednesday | Galia Lahav

With her famous illusion backs, cascading silk tulle skirts and Italian ivory lace, Galia Lahav dresses are amongst the most lusted over gowns. We doubt there’s a single Bride-to-be who hasn’t come across one of her creations on Pinterest or Instagram. The gowns are on another level of “wow!” and the lookbook for the latest collection, “Les Reves Bohemians,” is a masterpiece in styling and photography. The collection manages to strike the elusive balance between hotness and bridal – sexy enough that your partner’s jaw (and your guests) will hit the floor, but demure enough that your Gran would approve! The “Les Reves Bohemians” collection is inspired by fantasy romance and bohemian fairy tales (there’s even a dress called “Cinderella”). The use of tulle has that – (and we hate this phrase, so sorry) –  princess-feel. The collection features dresses similar to what you may have dreamed of as a little girl, but the daring twists to each design – intricate details; plunging backs; high splits –  all comes together to create a grown-up twist that stylish brides will appreciate. We really want to cheat and show more than one dress, but as it’s Wedding DRESS Wednesday and not DressES, we had to pick just one….*Drum roll*Tiger Lily is a unique mermaid dress with a light sheer top, all appliqued by hand in multi-layering techniques. It has a low back and beautiful long sleeves (we haven’t featured a long-sleeved favourite yet so this helped us to make the difficult selection!). The back and sleeves are made of exquisite French lace. The multi-layered skirt has sheer “peek-a-boo ” sections and a flowing tulle train. Tiger-Lily-Zoom

Whisper and BlushWhat are your thoughts on this dress? Do you love Galia Lahav designs as much as we do?  I want to put this on (complete with floral crown) and lounge around on rose petals too…
