Wedding Guest Footwear | Don’t Sink In The Grass!

We thought this may be a useful guide based on our experiences of attending weddings and something we always fail to learn from.

Your choice of shoe to wear to a wedding is really important

Really, it is.  And not in a, “you need comfy footwear to survive all day” type way.  No.  It’s because – especially when attending summer weddings  -you will more than likely encounter grass at some point.  And take it from my ruined Giuseppe Zanottii’s (may they rest in peace) – Grass and heels are not the best of friends.

Wet grass (especially common during a traditional English do) equals mud.  Mud equals sinking heels. Sinking heels at best equals muddy shoes. At worse if they are made from satin/lace/suede (basically anything other than leather) the sunken heels will not fair well and will result in stains;visible damage and tears…

… so thank goodness for Block Heels which are not only practical they’re also super fashionable!  Here’s our guide to the best picks out there!  (Your high heels and bank balance will thank you!)
