The Daalarna label is the work of Hungarian designer, Anita Benes. Specialising in corsetry, the collection features nipped in waists, low plunges and a whole array of silhouettes. We are totally smitten with the colourful watercolour printed silk dresses inspired by Monet in the aptly named FLOWER collection; any other week they’d be sure to feature on Wedding Dress Wednesday. However, we were browsing the beautiful Daalarna collections on the same day the image of Whitney Port in her custom-made, pearl embellished wedding dress by Ashi Studio cropped up on her Instagram feed.

We love the modern look of the high-low hem and the delicate floral embroidery and so, taking this as inspiration, we choose Daalarna style FLW924 for Wedding Dress Wednesday this week.

Perfect for a bride who dares to be different (or someone who can’t decide between a long gown or midi dress!). The full tulle skirt still gives that dreamy bridal feel, but the high-low hemline adds a twist to the traditional (we love the floral embellishment around the edge of the skirt).

The sheer top is made demure by the addition of lace sleeves and we love the floral placements on the bodice. Stunning!
