A couple of weeks ago we were lucky enough to be invited along to find out more about Bridebook, an online wedding planning resource perfect for couples who want to stay organised, without the need for an Excel spreadsheet! The launch event was held in the historic Browns Hotel, Mayfair which is an absoutley stunning wedding venue for anyone looking for an intimate central London venue.
While being treated to a delicious (and BONUS, healthy) brunch (quite possible the best avocado on toast we’ve had!) we learnt more about the latest wedding planning platform.
Bridebook was dreamt up by groom-to-be Hamish whose experience in the wedding industry began with him transforming his grandmother’s old home into one of the UK’s leading wedding venues. Through this (and his own wedding planning experience) he quickly learnt that the majority of brides’ felt overwhelmed and confused by the wedding planning process. Which is why the idea formed to build a wedding planning platform which makes the process enjoyable, but also is incredibly practical.
Using the online tool, you can search through hundreds of wedding suppliers including venues, entertainers, photographers, florists… basically every element you’ll need. From the website itself you can contact your shortlist of suppliers and even keep track of your budget. This is probably the best feature of Bridebook. Instead of having to plug everything into a Excel spreadsheet yourself, the tool will keep track of the costs of your favourite suppliers so you can stay on top of your finances. If you have a budget to stick to (and who doesn’t) you can set your budget at the start and make sure you stay on track.
As well as all the practical aspects the lovely team at Bridebook HQ have teamed up with leading wedding industry experts who offer tips and advice. From bridal makeup tips with Bobbie Brown to decorating tips with Easy, this really can act as a one-stop shop for couples.
Bridebook has launched now – take a look here.
** Also a big, huge, THANK YOU to Ash, one half of wedding photography duo The Springles who took all these gorgeous images in this post. Find out more about The Springles here **
