Some of our life goals include meeting (swooning over) David Beckham; performing with the Spice Girls (we were seriously obsessed back in the day) and attending New York Bridal Market.
The New York Bridal Market is essentially a trade exhibition for the world’s most beautiful wedding dress designers to showcase their latest collections to buyers across the globe to select for their bridal boutiques. To be fair, all Bridal Weeks (London’s White Gallery; Harrogate Bridal Show; Barcelona Bridal Week…) showcase equally glamorous and lust-worthy gowns, but there’s just something about NYC!)
We kept a keen eye on the stunning images on social media over the course of New York Bridal Week looking out for new trends to report on. One of our favourite shows was the debut of the 2017 Jenny Packham collection. As you’d expect the collection features lots of embellishment and perfectly balances vintage touches with modern glamour – we love these dresses below.
But THE STANDOUT for us is this beautiful soft green gown with delicate pink embellishments.

Soft pastel hues are becoming more popular for Brides who don’t want a white dress- in fact a recent survey by Brides magazine revealed 44% of brides would now consider a coloured bridal gown. With big name designers like Jenny Packham adding more colour to their collections, this is a bridal trend we predict to grow and grow!
However, if you don’t have a wedding dress budget that will stretch to a Jenny Packham gown, then you need to get yourself logged on to the Debenhams website on the 9th May as this beauty will be available…

Stunning isn’t it?
This is from the successful No 1 Jenny Packham range available via the high-street retailer and we think it’s a great budget-friendly version retailing at just £275.
Not only is it a beautiful choice for a bride who wants something that bit different, we think it would also be a great bridesmaid dress or a reception dress for brides who want to party the night away.
