Ultra Violet Style | Purple Fashion and Bridal Style

So it’s official. THE colour of 2018 is Ultra Violet. According to the press release, it’s a “dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade” and it, “communicates originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us toward the future”….. Yeah. We’re a bit unsure of what that really means too…

What we do know though is it’s a great excuse to look at how you can incorporate this hue into everyday life and even into your wedding planning! Cue the Whisper and Blush mood boards!

Every Day Life…

… Make like a fashion blogger and don’t be afraid to shy away from head-to-toe looks or even team with colour blocking in clashing shades. There were A LOT of purple and red looks at 2017 fashion weeks. (Think Cheryl Cole when she went to do the American xFactor – ahead of the game!) If a full-on look is too much, then purple accessorise are the way to go.  Designers and high-street all have a great selection to choose from.

Wedding Day Styling…

… Whether it’s a subtle nod in your flowers, or a full-on lighting display, there are plenty of ways to incorporate the colour into your big day.
