We get it. Attending weddings can be expensive, especially if you have a packed wedding season ahead of you. Well, we have scoured the high street (okay, online retailers!) to bring you our best outfit choices if you need to figure out what to wear to a wedding this Spring, but only want to spend £100 or less.
First up is this stunning Midi dress by Three Floor which has gone on sale and falls within budget! I know. I’m stunned too. Three Floor dresses have a bit of a cult following, inspired by the effortless style of models and bloggers and are often closer to the £300 mark so if you love this, we urge you to snap it up! There are still quite a lot of sizes left! Navy is an easy colour to wear if you are more used to wearing black and the contrast-lace bodice gives a fab pop of colour without being too much.
If you want to subtly tap into this summer’s Country & Western trend we love this Western Trim Midi Dress from Topshop. The soft colour is spring wedding appropriate but the embellished skirt and black lace trim provide a modern twist. You could easily style this dress down more casually so it’s certainly a “wear again” item.
This V by Very One Shoulder Pencil Dress would be perfect if you’re trying to decide what to wear to a classic wedding but don’t want to be spending higher-end high street/designer prices. In a classic cut, this pencil dress skims your curves for a flattering fit that shows off your silhouette. The one-shoulder style with oversized bow detail brings a certain retro vibe, while the blush hue makes it perfect for special occasions.
A lace dress is a wedding guest staple and works equally as well at other summer events such as the races. This Lace Trim dress is giving us serious Kate Middleton vibes without the need for a Royal Wedding budget! You could totally tell people you picked this up in Reiss or Whistles and people will believe you (not that we condone lying!)
90’s style slip dresses are having a moment again. We love this Cami style slip dress by ASOS (we love the price too!). It’s quite strappy and flimsy so we would recommend a cover-up or jacket for the wedding ceremony itself but then by the evening, you’ll be ready to party away.
We hope you found this useful. Don’t forget we have even more dresses to choose from over on our Whisper & Blush Style Page. Melissa xx
