Despite some people getting up in arms about the fact her dress may have broken Royal protocol (Royal women traditionally wear long sleeves to Trooping the Colour and off-shoulder styles are discouraged); we couldn’t care less. We thought the Duchess of Sussex looked beautiful in her peach Carolina Herrera gown. So much so, we’ve pulled together our favourite “inspired by” picks.
First up is this dusty pink and wallet-friendly number from ASOS, fabulous for wedding guests this summer.

We love this sage green wide-legged jumpsuit from Reiss. The Bardot neckline offers a flattering and fun look and gives a chic alternative to a dress.

This RIXO dress is the perfect “dress up, dress down” option as it somehow manages to be simultaneously relaxed yet dressy; the kind you could wear to beachside dinners and again to that summer wedding.

A little black dress is a wardrobe staple and when you find one you love sometimes it’s worth getting to put away until you need it. You will always find an occasion for one and can be left kicking yourself when the time comes and you don’t have the dress you knew would be perfect (this can’t just happen to me!). While this black dress may not necessarily be summer appropriate, it’s timeless and will be a great party staple.
